Public Lecture by Joseph E. Stiglitz on Financial Complexity and Climate Change

In the wake of recent climate negotiations, the financial sector has a major role to play in the transition to a low-carbon economy. The transformation will entail systemic risks but also great economic opportunities for growth. Assessing those risks and opportunities requires a better understanding of the rising complexity of finance, both in terms of contracts and interconnectedness of the market players.
