This year's "DBF Award for Excellence in Teaching" for extraordinary teaching efforts by our PhD students goes to Vincent Wolff for the spring term 23 and Thea Kolasa for the fall term 22.
Vincent Wolff has won the award for his excellent teaching in his two exercise classes on "Asset Pricing". Students paid tribute to his teaching through outstanding teaching evaluations. Beyond teaching, Vincent co-authored a book for the lecture "Asset Pricing - Finanzderivate und ihre Systemrisiken", which has become an essential resource for students.
Thea Kolasa received the award for being instrumental in the success of the Finance Seminar. Beyond liaising with the speakers and organizing the day-to-day tasks for the seminar, Thea always showed up with great enthusiasm and dedication.
