50 Years Banking & Finance

The "Swiss Banking Institute" was formally founded in the summer of 1968 by the Government Council of the Canton of Zurich. Soon after, in October 1968, the department started its operations at Rämistrasse 62 close to the UZH main building.

This year's 50th anniversary is an excellent opportunity to celebrate, to look back at the multifaceted history, and to honor many success stories since the foundation. At the same time it is the right moment to think about interesting future challenges. For this purpose the department has organized a public anniversary celebration to be held on October 3, 2018, in the UZH main building (Rämistrasse 71).
